Now that it is summer, the kids and I have been heading to the pool as much as possible. Last weekend, we bought a few new pool toys for the season. After learning the hard way last summer, I wrote our last name in permanent marker on all of our toys before we used them.
We only bought a few toys this year because I learned last year that within a few weeks the lost and found bin at our pool is full of toys. When we get to the pool, the kids will take one or two toys from the bin to play with and then return them before we leave.
